अमेरिका में इमीग्रेशन रिफॉर्म बिल के पास होने की संभावना बढ़ गई है क्योंकि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा ने इसे तेज करने के लिए गुरूवार को ऐलान किया है। इसके तहत अमेरिका में एच1बी एक्स्टेंशन वीजा वाले लोगों को ग्रीनकार्ड मिलने की प्रकिया तेज करने की बात कही गई है। अब उन्हें वीजा की वजह से नौकरी छोड़कर स्वदेश नहीं लौटना होगा और वो कानूनी तौर पर अमेरिका में रह सकेंगे। इसका एच1बी वाले अप्रवासी भारतीयों को फायदा मिलेगा। एफ1 वीजा वाले छात्रों को भी फायदा होगा। इसके अलावा करीब 50 लाख गैरकानूनी प्रोफेशनल्स को भी फायदा मिलेगा।
